I am Brazilian and started playing tennis when I was eight years old at a small club in my hometown. My father never played tennis but always loved the sport, so he was my biggest motivator. At the age of 10, I started playing state tournaments, and at the age of 12 I became the best player in my age group in Sao Paulo. I practiced a lot and pursued the dream of becoming a professional tennis player. When I was 19 years old, I received a scholarship for a college in the United States. It was a great experience as a tennis player and as a student.
Since starting tennis, I am never away from a tennis court for too long. It became my passion. I think tennis is one of the most difficult, beautiful, and graceful sports. It is an environment where you can always improve, create good relationships with friends, and play forever.
I have 27 years of experience on the court. I have trained at some of the most highly regarded facilities, and I have had the privilege of being coached by renowned professionals, such as Joao Soares, who ranked in the top 75 in the ATP rankings, and Carlos Chabalgoity, the trainer for the Brazilian Davis Cup team.
Over the years, I have participated in various tournaments, including ITF Juniors, Brazilian National Juniors, Regional, and NCAA, representing Mercy College of New York. After all these years of competitive tournaments, I pursued a degree in Pharmacy at a university in Brazil. Upon completing my studies, I returned to my hometown and started working as both a pharmacist and a tennis coach in 2014. My passion for sports, especially tennis, drives me to be on the court every day to help players of all ages improve their skill.
